Restrainer Baskets

Heavy duty, electropolished 304/316 stainless steel perforated plate basket are including with your filter bag housing. They allow use of filter bags and elements up to differential pressure of 30 psi.
Our basket are available in all standard sizes, filling all Balaji bag filter housing. Baskets can be used with adaptor rings for retrofitting other types of housing.

Magnet assemblies are inserted in the filter bag during filtration. They are fitted in the center with magnetic bars and can also be used as a bag positioner. The lifetime of your filter bag housing is extended when magnetic arrangement retain magnetic particles such as chips and fines, preventing deposit on the filter media. They also retain finer magnetic dust when using bags of courser micron rating. Balaji Filter magnetic strainers are available in size 01 and 02 using one or two 316 stainless steel cover. magnetic bars.

Highly recommended for all installations, mandatory for some, bag positioners orbag locks' ensure correct positioning of the filter bag within the basket and eliminate any bobbing up and down movement of the bag caused by uncontrolled back pressure. This avoids any chance of the bag bursting. They are available in sizes 01 and 02.

Height-adjustable leg assemblies are standard for size 01 and 02 TOPLINE., FLOWLINE. and SIDELINE'. housings, and optional for ECOLINET. housings. Wall mounting brackets are also available.

Inserting a displacement balloon inside the filter bag minimizes the amount of residual liquid present in the filter bag and reduces product loss. This eases the changing of the filter bags eliminating the need for expensive pressure-aided draining systems. The 316 stainless steel balloons' maximum DPis 230 psi. They are available in sizes 01 and 02.

Balaji Filter standard pipe modules are available in 316 stainless steel. 90° elbows, flange reductions, flanged °Tsections, and flange manifolds can be easily assembled to make DUOLINE. or MODULINE. bag filter versions based on FLOWLINET.. SIDELINE. or TOPLINET. size 01 or 02 housings.

Balaji Filter metal filter housings are fitted with Buna N 0-rings. Plastic housings have Viton 0-rings. Other material options such as EPDM, Viton, TFE encapsulated Viton or Silicone rubber are available as flat gaskets. These options offer a variety of chemical and thermal resistances for many different applications.

Bag filter housings may be fitted with 316 stainless steel mesh lined strainers in place of baskets to convert them to strainer filters. Mesh strainers are available in four standard sizes: 01, 02, 03 and 04, micron ratings are 25, 50, 100, 150, 250, 400, 800 pm respectively.

Bag hold-clown rings vary by the bag filter housings and are included with the housing upon purchase. They hold the filter bag securely inside the restrainer basket which in tum is positioned correctly within the housing..
